Neji could not understand what was happening before his eyes.
He suspected he had fallen under some unknown Genjutsu.
The Gentle Fist's Pressure Point Strike was an absolute attack aimed at the enemy's chakra pathway system, the essence of the Hyuga Clan's taijutsu passed down for centuries. Once struck, chakra would be sealed, and the enemy would instantly lose all ability to resist.
This was a theorem, one the Hyuga Clan elders had reiterated countless times.
Yet this theorem had failed on Naruto Uzumaki.
"Your attack logic is built on blocking the enemy's chakra circulation," Naruto stated a fact. "But when the target's energy output vastly exceeds the threshold of your ability to seal it, your technique becomes meaningless. This is basic energy confrontation theory."
"Impossible!" Neji roared, unable to accept an explanation that overturned his entire understanding of the world.
He charged again, faster this time, his palm strikes even denser. He would use facts to prove that his Gentle Fist was perfect, that fate could not be defied.
This time, Naruto did not dodge.
As Neji's palm strike came in, Naruto raised his left arm and precisely slammed the hardest bone on the outside of his elbow into Neji's wrist. The Gentle Fist's soft, inch-force was utterly neutralized before it could meet that pure violence.
The instant he blocked, Naruto leaned forward and drove his right elbow hard into Neji's unguarded ribs.
"Ugh!"
Neji let out a muffled groan, the impact causing his palm technique to falter.
Naruto gave him no chance to catch his breath. A standard side kick struck Neji precisely on the side of the knee. Then Naruto retracted his leg, spun, and drove the knee of his other leg brutally into Neji's abdomen.
There was not a single unnecessary movement in the entire sequence.
