Ch. 341Death of Supergiant
Key plot points and events
- After watching Corvus Glaive lose to Thor, Cull Obsidian and Nebula realize their side may not be able to win the final. Nebula quietly slips away.
- Mike confronts Cull Obsidian, recognizing that he serves Thanos to protect his people. Mike offers him a chance to change course, but Cull says his past crimes leave him no way back. Mike then crushes him with an invisible force and buries him in rubble.
- Supergiant reveals that she has sent her observations to Thanos and threatens that he will come for Mike and the others. Mike suggests that Thanos may have received exactly the information Mike intended him to have.
- Desperate, Supergiant expends her remaining mental strength attacking Mike’s mental shield, fatally exhausting herself. Mike kills her with Corvus Glaive’s War Blade.
- Supergiant’s soul emerges from her body but is pulled into the War Blade. Mike explains that Corvus Glaive’s soul is trapped there too, meaning he is not entirely dead.
