Then, as though countless invisible hands were pulling together, the remaining skin was torn off whole. Flesh fell away, and a skeleton without a scrap of flesh abruptly appeared before Er Dongsheng.

Crack, crack!

The skeleton kept moving her body, her bones making constant cracking sounds as they ground against one another. So the chewing-like crunches from earlier had come from this skeleton inside the fairy's body.

Er Dongsheng stared at the strange fairy skeleton. She seemed to have evolved from the fairy's body. Her pure white bones were covered in mysterious jet-black patterns, one after another, densely interlinking every bone! There was a strange beauty to her!
