To enter the Mysterious Land, they needed the Ink Spirit Flame's help. Without its aura, they could not get in at all! At the very least, they needed its acceptance, or for it not to reject them.

And Er Dongsheng's Burning Legion plan could achieve exactly that.

So what was his plan?

Er Dongsheng remembered a story from an anime he had watched in his previous life. Some people had implanted highly invasive monster flesh into young girls, creating half-human, half-monster warriors who wielded greatswords and possessed formidable combat power! Those girls had given him his inspiration.

After all, he was a demon. His flesh was even more invasive than a monster's, and the Abyss Demons' power of corruption was notorious throughout the Abyss. That monstrous ability struck terror into countless planes and left them wailing! You could fight and fight, only to discover that your enemies were multiplying instead of dwindling. Even your family and friends might be corrupted into dark, fallen creatures. How were you supposed to fight that?

Of course, some races could resist Abyssal Power or demonic corruption, but they were rare! The elves of the Sunlight Plane seemed to be one example. Even those who fell could retain their minds, making them more formidable still! These beings, half sunlight and half Abyss, were technically demons, but the native demons rejected them. As a result, they loathed other demons to the bone! Much like Half-Elves!
