Silver Demon Fish

Dozens of days had slipped by since Er Dongsheng woke up.

All the worries that had filled the cave these past few days had vanished, replaced by joy. Having someone to lean on again felt so wonderful!

That evening, Er Dongsheng took the little girls and Bei'er on foot to the lake not far from their home!

It was rather strange, though. What were they heading out to do so late at night?

"Nan-nan, Brother, can we really catch that legendary fish?" the little girl asked curiously as they walked. She did not quite understand what fish were, but they sounded impressive. When she heard this was like their old Worm Fishing, her interest soared, and she chattered away without a moment's peace!

"Ee~ ya~" Little Bei'er drew out both sounds, gave an enormous yawn, and stretched, poking her little head out of Er Dongsheng's arms!

Bei'er's two dark little eyes watched the nighttime scenery with fascination, brimming with curiosity! She had hardly ever seen what the world outside looked like at night!

Strangely enough, since that great battle, almost no Whirlwind Demons could be seen in this area. Even the occasional one or two they encountered fled at once, running as far as they could, as though seeing Er Dongsheng were like seeing a ghost!

Although it was rather baffling, this was actually a good thing. First, Lulu and the others were safer. Second, not only could they come out at night, but they could finally stop living like burrowing rats
