The Terrifying Serpent Swallow!

A trail that looked as though a giant python had crushed its way through suddenly appeared before him! The section pressed into the ground alone was four or five meters across. Could anyone imagine how enormous that unknown monster's body had to be?

Most terrifying of all, the sand and soil along the trail showed signs of fusing together and shattering. Some smaller grains had even begun to crystallize! It was as though intensely hot flames had washed over those tracks!

How bizarre!

Could that enormous monster actually have been wreathed in fire?

Er Dongsheng thought it over but could not make sense of it. After scanning his surroundings and finding no strange creatures hiding nearby, he felt his pounding heart settle a little!

He continued examining the area carefully without letting his guard down!

The cavern chamber was small enough to survey at a glance. Behind him was the enormous tunnel he had come through, while another huge, unfamiliar tunnel slanted upward to one side. A tremendous, mournful howling of wind seemed to come from within! Where did it lead? Why was there wind?
