Endless flames shone through the black clouds, brutally tearing apart the thick cloud cover that blanketed the sky! Then shafts of sunlight spilled through, illuminating the land once more!

A pair of fiery-red wings slowly emerged. A closer look revealed a gigantic, wondrous bird soaring joyfully among the clouds!

Suddenly—

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three or four enormous fireballs poured down from the sky in succession, hurtling toward the earth without restraint!

The enormous vortex that the Wind King had become deftly evaded the Phoenix's attacks, rendering every fireball useless! All they could do was blast one gigantic crater after another into the ground!

"Screee!"

Seeing that the attacks had failed to take effect, the enormous Flame Phoenix seemed to fly into a rage. With a sweep of those wings, countless pinpricks of fire suddenly appeared in the sky. Before long, massive fireballs began materializing around the wings!

Boom!

Like ten thousand cannons firing at once, countless red fireballs launched a ferocious assault on the Wind King! From their distant hiding place, everyone saw what looked like a gigantic gash suddenly torn through the dark sky. Endless enormous fireballs plummeted savagely toward the earth like a meteor shower!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

This time, the Wind King had nowhere to dodge. The dense barrage of fireballs struck him in an instant, and his enormous, spinning vortex body abruptly stiffened, pausing for just over a second. Yet in that brief second, countless more fireballs came hurtling in!
