Little Bei'er Takes a Hard Hit (Part Two)

"Yiya!" Little Bei'er flew over excitedly. She had only been gone a few days, yet so many new things had appeared here! This little creature had been so bored she was ready to burst, and she knew every inch of the Castle grounds. From Er Dongsheng's towering Bone Throne to the vast underground caverns used for storage, even the buildings aboveground—there was nowhere she hadn't been!

Yet after just a few days away, something new had appeared in a place she had already tired of exploring. It looked awfully imposing, too. Wonderful!

The Little Sea Demon's interest flared at once. Gone was the listlessness she had shown throughout the journey. Give her something to play with, and she brimmed with energy!

Bei'er's thirst for adventure was surging. She had completely forgotten Er Dongsheng's instruction to report to him as soon as she returned!

"Yiya-yo!" She flew happily toward something that looked like a door. She was going to go inside and play for a while. New things were her favorite!

But then...

"Sorry, Lady Bei'er. Lord Baal gave orders that no one else may enter without permission!" A member of the Castle's patrol team suddenly blocked Little Bei'er's path.

"Ya?" She wasn't allowed in? The Little Sea Demon was puzzled. There was a place she couldn't enter? Like the underground storeroom? Her burning desire to poke into other people's business blazed to life!

"Yaya! (Move aside! Bei'er is going in! You dare stop even me? Hmph!)" The little creature spoke as if the warning meant nothing and kept charging forward!

Bang!

She slammed on the brakes, nearly crashing into him!

"Lady Bei'er, you really can't!" the guard said helplessly. Inside, he was lamenting
