Shiweier leaned close to Ximir's ear and began whispering.

Ximir turned to the dejected Little Sea Demon with a beaming smile. "It's not that Lady Bei'er can't go inside. But first, you must promise to help me with something..."

"Ya?" The Little Sea Demon, who had been listless a moment ago, suddenly sat up. Her little eyes shone as she looked expectantly at Ximir, and she thumped her tiny chest with both hands.

"Ya ya! (No problem! Tell Bei'er what you need, and Bei'er will take care of it!)"

"Ya yi ya! (There's nothing in this Castle that Bei'er can't do!)" Still apparently unsatisfied, she added one more boast. The little thing seemed to have forgotten that she had just failed to get into that enormous building no matter what she tried!
