In a small bedroom, a Light Gate suddenly appeared, and Er Dongsheng stumbled out!

"Bei'er! Bei'er, are you all right?" Blood was already spilling from the Little Sea Demon's mouth. Er Dongsheng had no thought to spare for his surroundings. After a quick check revealed no danger, he hurriedly examined the little one in his hands!

That enormous monster had struck her hard, and her injuries seemed terribly serious! Blood kept spilling from her mouth, and her little face was frighteningly pale!

"B-big guy... Is Bei'er... Is Bei'er going to die?" The Little Sea Demon opened her eyes weakly and looked at Er Dongsheng without quite focusing on him. Her injuries seemed so severe that her little cheeks had puffed up, and her words came out in an indistinct mumble!

The sight of her sent Er Dongsheng's heart into his throat!

"No. No, how could you?" Er Dongsheng shook his head desperately, grief deepening across his face! Though he usually treated her as a source of amusement and a pet, the two of them had formed a deep bond over the years!

Don't say Demons were all cold and heartless. He was not a true Demon, and neither were the Demons in this realm. They were merely experimental subjects, Demons in name but not in truth!
