It was more advanced than Earth's purely material technology, and its methods of wielding magical energy were terrifyingly powerful.

Though its people were not individually that strong, Magic Technology made the plane far mightier than ordinary low-level magic planes.

Just imagine what a fully developed magical army, equipped with fully developed magical weapons, could do!

The plane had reached an extraordinary level of development, and its widespread use of magical energy made it ever more glorious.

It bore a beautiful name—Lucy Angel, meaning the world amid light and darkness, or perhaps a name for devils and angels!

Yet beneath its bright surface lay a side no one knew.

None of its ordinary people knew that their plane was, in truth, one half of a mirrorlike pair of twins.

Unfathomable Evil lay hidden within.

Most of the plane was enclosed by land, with only a little ocean. Because it relied on Magic Technology, there was no pollution or large-scale destruction. Its greenery was lush, with vast stretches of primeval jungle!

In a huge city surrounded by countless trees, magical vehicles of every kind streamed past. At the city's center stood a tower!

"Pfft!"

An exceptionally beautiful woman abruptly opened her eyes. A flush flashed across her face, and she spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Angel, what happened?" A man shot to his feet, staring at the woman
