Destruction Rises Again! (Part One)

The captains exchanged glances. At last, Xierjie was the first to stand.

"Our First Destruction Team explored the western side of this Shattered Continent Cluster. We found dozens of Demon gathering places and several dangerous areas. After losing a few subordinates, we've marked the approximate boundaries of those areas. Please take a look, my lord!"

A map drawn on animal hide was presented.

Er Dongsheng turned it over a few times. Several distinctive locations caught his eye, including, unmistakably, the continent from last time!

He committed them silently to memory, then looked toward the other captains.

"My lord, we explored the east."

"We explored the north."

As the captains gave their reports, Er Dongsheng gradually gained a clearer picture of the surrounding area. The tension in his face eased a little.

Things around us aren't too bad.

Demons living on the Broken Continents scattered through the Shattered Starry Sky were far from few. In fact, there were a great many of them!

Most gathered under the protection of powerful Demons and chose relatively safe continents to live on. But that created a problem.

Larger continents often harbored all manner of strange dangers, yet those same continents usually held abundant food.

Food shortages led to brutal slaughter. Battles to seize territory broke out constantly, and every safe zone—every continent free of serious danger—had been claimed by one Demon faction or another.

After all these years of exploration, they still had not found a single unclaimed safe zone.

Er Dongsheng held only a tiny patch of land. If his growing number of subordinates were to survive, he would have to wage war and kill!
