As Er Dongsheng approached, his clothes stirred without a breeze, Black Flame whipping his hems until they snapped.

He stood calmly before them, his aura withdrawn. Yet everyone felt the pressure on them grow heavier, not lighter.

Sweat beaded on their foreheads. Only now did they seem to realize that the familiar man before them was no longer the weak Allen they remembered. Perhaps he had never been the same person at all.

"Who... who are you?" Chris could no longer hold back. He voiced the question on everyone's mind.

"Who am I? Haha, isn't it obvious? I'm Allen." As though he had heard something amusing, Er Dongsheng gave a small shrug and spoke with a faint laugh.

"No. You aren't Allen." Chris stared hard at the familiar man before him. At last, a bleak look entered his eyes. "I raised him for all these years. I'd know at a glance whether you were Allen!"

"Who are you? What's happened to Allen?" Fury filled Chris's eyes as he glared at Er Dongsheng.

He was that child's father. Whatever anyone thought of him now, he still loved that poor child.

"Tsk. How sad. You guarded against me for years, and you still don't know who I am?" Er Dongsheng pointed to the black line on his forehead, now turned to Crystal. The blue light in his eyes flared, and a Black Flame rose slowly from his hand.

As if those clues would let Chris recognize him.

"What? Could
