Inside a vast Old Castle.
A demonic figure stood with his back to the other demons, studying an enormous map. No one knew what he was thinking.
His long, snow-white hair streamed in the wind, and an ornate gold-trimmed cloak draped over his modest frame. Though he stood less than two meters tall, his overwhelming presence made the demons kneeling behind him tremble to their cores.
Scratch.
The demon drew a large red cross over a prominently marked island on the map. Then, stroke by stroke, he traced over it until the island slowly took the shape of a red heart.
"Well done. Truly well done! Two Six-Star demons, and you still couldn't hold one tiny island! What am I supposed to say to you?" His low, cold voice seethed with fury.
"My lord, the enemy was a Transcendent Demon too. We... we..." Frazer opened his mouth, but could say no more.
Bang!
A blast of force struck Frazer and sent him flying.
"Cough, cough!" He hit the floor, blood spilling from his mouth.
"You lost it. Don't make excuses! Useless, the lot of you!"
"If you weren't still of some use to me, I'd have killed you long ago! A worthless fool driven out of the First Abyss Layer!"
"And the rest of you!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Every kneeling demon was hurled away, tumbling across the floor.
None dared cry
