His claws had passed straight through the Protective Field and touched the itchy spot on his neck.

But that touch revealed something far more horrifying!

Enduring the pain, Er Dongsheng sealed the flesh around the wound and brought the torn piece up before his eyes.

A horrific sight met his gaze, and a wave of nausea swept through his entire body.

The flesh was covered in tiny teeth, with countless fuzzy little hands waving around its edges!

It looked grotesque and deeply unsettling.

"What is this?"

Before he had even found a way out, Er Dongsheng discovered another terrifying change in his body!

Disgusting things had begun growing on him!

His face grim, Er Dongsheng made the Ink Spirit Flame blaze from the very center of his body.

He spared not a single cell, bone, or scrap of flesh!

He would see what had gotten inside him!

At the same time, a magical mirror rippled into being around him, letting him inspect every corner of his body.

Yet that one patch seemed to be the only abnormality. Er Dongsheng found nothing else strange, inside or out.

"Is there really nothing else?" He could hardly believe it. He checked himself thoroughly, but found nothing.

"No, something's there!" He spotted faint black shadows among his flesh and cells. Even the patterns on his scales had begun to double, as though something was...
