There was no need to recount how the Destruction Squad attacked the human Castle after its Barrier shattered, or how the heroes resisted the demons' assault.
The battle there was already decided. Two Destruction Squad captains wielded weapons imbued with their own power, while Little Snake and the Fire Demon Beast were formidable in their own right. Whatever else happened, it would not change much.
So Er Dongsheng let Little Lolita join the fray. He turned instead to regard Behemoth's motionless projected double, sprawled within the Barrier, with keen interest.
The fellow looked finished.
"Lord Behemoth, this isn't like you Devils. Are you giving up just like that? No resistance? Just waiting to die?" Er Dongsheng asked mildly.
His only answer was Behemoth's accelerating collapse.
A Silver Disc gradually emerged within a mass of Law energy.

The energy projection surrounding Behemoth completely fell apart.
At the last instant before it dispersed, he suddenly raised his head. A trace of deep mockery appeared on his silver-masked face.
