Red flames and terrifying black fire scattered through the air, destroying everything in their path!
Buildings collapsed one after another. The ground split open, heaven and earth seemed to turn upside down, and even rivers threatened to run dry!
Blood rained down. For a moment, the sun and moon lost their light, the stars vanished, and only a massive Black Sun hung overhead!
Crack!
Nier crushed a Guardian leader's head in an instant, then shifted slightly to avoid the spray of brains.
"Souls may be delicious, but human bodies are just as filthy as those of any other animal!"
Nier curled her lip in disdain.
It seemed this Succubus still looked down on humans to her very core!
"Damn you! I'm your opponent!" The Golden Duke stepped forward, golden energy surging around him, and threw a punch!
The very space around them trembled!
A massive fist wrapped in golden light came hurtling toward her!
This time, he did not transform into that strange golden bird. Instead, a pair of golden wings grew from his back, just like those of the squad members.
The wings beat furiously as he charged into the fray.
Once more, he clashed head-on with Nier!
"Heh. We really are old rivals!" Nier smiled faintly. Her slender body twisted, and she met his charge!
Boom!
Their fists collided with a thunderous impact!
Her fist was only half the size of the Golden Duke's, yet it held his enormous fist fast. What overwhelming power!
"Looks like you haven't improved much over the years!"
