Biology and Appearance

Succubi are humanoid Abyssal Species distinguished by pointed ears and tails. Adult Abyssal Succubi are described as having slightly dark skin and small horns on either side of the forehead. Lulu, a mutant juvenile, instead has white skin and no horns. 13 16

Society

Succubi are among the Abyss’s prominent intelligent communal races, alongside Abyssal Fairies, Foxfolk, and Medusas. Their communities generally contain at least dozens of members and can grow to hundreds or thousands. Such groups either possess an Abyss Demon or rely on a powerful demon for protection. 12

Mental Control

Adult Abyssal Succubi specialize in mental control and can influence generally docile Abyssal animals; the effectiveness of this control depends on their spiritual power. 40

• Limited by the individual Succubus’s spiritual power. 40
• Their strong innate mental abilities make Succubi particularly suitable for Lulu’s mutated Awakening cells, though even among them, not everyone can withstand the process. 170

Transformation and Seduction Arts

Succubi are proficient in transformation and seduction arts, supported by exceptionally developed spiritual power. At the trading market, Succubi disguise themselves as Half-Elves as part of an apparent honey-trap scheme. 41

• Can alter their outward forms convincingly enough to deceive market observers. 41
• Their scent may still reveal their true identity to someone familiar with a Succubus. 41

Intelligence and Survival

Although their attacks and defenses are not especially strong, Succubi compensate through intelligence, social organization, and specialized abilities. 12

• Young Succubi can learn hunting, patience, and tactical restraint under training. Lulu successfully ambushes and captures the Lesser Imp Sibya with a paralyzing poisoned arrow. 26 34
• Their usual physical weakness makes isolated juveniles especially vulnerable to predators. 12
• Lulu displays keen perception of others’ feelings and intentions, which helps her decide whom to trust among Baal’s followers. 81 85
• Lulu’s awakened, light-like power can attack and heal. Unlike ordinary light power, its healing does not harm demons who have awakened the same power; this is a product of her unusual mutation and Ink Spirit Flame, not an established ability of every Succubus. 111 113

Known Succubi

• Lulu — A young mutant Succubus with white skin and no horns. Separated from her tribe, she is rescued by Er Dongsheng and becomes his adoptive little sister. 12 16 Later called Lulu Lilith, she awakens an unusual winged, light-like power and becomes associated with the Legion’s healers. 111 113 170
• Lilith Selvia — The legendary Lord of Temptation. Said to have risen from an ordinary Succubus to become one of the thirteen famous Demon Lords of the ancient age. 35 Also called the Succubus Devil Master, she is celebrated for confronting the Wraith King Asmodeus Orpheus during the ancient Undead catastrophe. Later accounts indicate that the accepted story of their conflict is incomplete. 724 787
• Lusbeta Lilith — A Second-Level Demon and queen of the Trading Camp’s Succubi, known as a master of minds. She later undergoes a disturbing change and sends demons to hunt Baal. 66 93
• Nier Lilith — Captain of Baal’s healing-focused Eighth Destruction Team. With Lulu’s backing, she comes to lead much of the wider Succubus Race as Lulu appears less often. 242 729
• Disguised market Succubi — A group posing as captured Half-Elves through transformation magic at the Abyssal trading market. 41

Relationships

• Er Dongsheng / Baal — Lulu’s adoptive older brother and protector. He rescues her from Velociraptors, trains her to survive independently, and vows that nothing will separate them. 12 26 23 Lulu later seeks the strength to protect him in return. 111
• Sibya — Captured by Lulu after trespassing and hunting within her territory; he later recognizes her authority within Er Dongsheng’s household. 34 35 38
• Lulu’s tribe — A Succubus community of roughly one hundred members led by her mother. The tribe initially protected Lulu because of her mutation but later abandoned her after she failed to display mutation abilities. 16 41
• Ximir — A mutated Fairy close to Lulu who benefits from her healing power. 113
• Mi Bei’er — A fellow member of Baal’s household. She and Lulu sometimes compete for attention, and Bei’er envies Lulu’s white awakened form. 113
• Abyssal Fairies — Long-standing rivals of the Trading Camp’s Succubi. Their respective queens clash, and the Succubus faction’s growing power later prompts a Fairy-led defensive coalition. 66 82

• Lulu’s strongest motivation for cultivation is not personal ambition, but fear of being separated from Er Dongsheng. 26
• Lulu treasures her brother’s handmade bow, round shield, basket, and small personal collection of bones, stones, and wooden toys. 24 31 33
• Baal and Mephisto note a resemblance between Lulu’s power and that of a Fallen Angel, but whether she is an angel remains a question rather than an established fact. A distinct will has also been detected within her light power. 738 768
