The rain grew heavier, falling so fast it nearly blurred everyone's vision.
But no matter how blurred their sight became, it could not hide the terror in their hearts.
"My God, what is that?!"
The girl's scream drew every student nearby, but the sight that greeted them sent a chill through their bones.
"Damn it! It's a Longtuoba Beast! What's a monster of that caliber doing here?"
"This is bad! Alexia's in its attack range!"
The students' faces twisted with anxiety, yet before the terrifying Longtuoba Beast, they all froze. Not one dared rush in to save her.
"Rooar!"
The Longtuoba Beast threw back its head and roared. Its huge claws pounded the ground as its scarlet eyes fixed on Alexia, who lay motionless, frightened senseless.
It was a massive monster, over two meters long, with a pair of fleshy horns on its forehead. Its triangular mouth was packed with rows of tiny teeth.
Thornlike barbs covered its body, their sharp edges flickering as it moved.
Worse still, a flower-shaped mouth grew at the end of its long tail. Drool dripped from it, making for a thoroughly revolting sight.
As it howled, a rank stench poured from its mouth.
