Crack!

Blood flew as the little body broke into pieces. Er Dongsheng watched without expression. Then a bizarre sight unfolded before his eyes!

The scattered pieces of the corpse, along with every flying drop of blood, seemed to be pulled by some unseen force. They flew backward and gathered together like a slow-motion film running in reverse, forming a ball. The mass began to melt. Thick, white, waxy fluid welled from the blood and limbs, more and more of it appearing until it gradually covered the entire ball!

It was revolting enough to make Er Dongsheng's stomach churn. This was fucking disgusting!

Hiss!

A white arm thrust out of the ball of melted wax. Then, under Er Dongsheng's calm gaze, a white paper figure crawled all the way out.

So it was these things. They'd come after all.

Waxy fluid still dripped from the Paper Person's body. It straightened up and, with its blank white face turned toward Er Dongsheng, suddenly let out a furious shriek.

"Aaaah!"

Bang!

Oh, shut the hell up! Sonic attacks were the worst! Er Dongsheng dug at his ears. He never wanted to suffer that kind of attack again. These days, even a slightly loud noise made his whole body feel wrong!

One slap smashed the Paper Person into pieces again. A moment later, the eerie thing stood up unharmed, coated in waxy fluid once more!

Another blow. After doing this again and again, Er Dongsheng had no choice but to face an unfortunate truth.

"Physical attacks don't work on this thing? Or the effect's so weak it might as well not exist!"
