Lately, I've been down to one update a day. A lot of people have called me out for abandoning the story, and some have even left the group. It's been hard, so let me tell you how I've been doing.
To make ends meet and earn a little extra, I chose to work myself to the bone with overtime. For a while, I was also posting two updates a day. Together, they completely wore me down.
You probably know that I had acute cholecystitis recently. Overwork can bring it on. I spent just one day in the hospital and had IV treatment for only three days. Sixue didn't miss an update during that time, either. Even an ordinary cold can mean three days on an IV, and that's all I had. It wasn't that I didn't want more treatment—it was too expensive, and I couldn't bear to spend the money!
Three days would have to do. I figured I could grit my teeth and get through it.
But my body still couldn't take it. After the pain, I had to think seriously about what came next. For the sake of my life going forward, I can only keep Demon God at one update a day for now.
Do you think Sixue doesn't want that five-hundred-yuan perfect-attendance bonus? I do. I really do. But my body can't bear it anymore. I worked overtime until nine, then came home and wrote until after midnight. Just one month of that was enough to break me!
Sigh~
After saying all this, Sixue doesn't even know what kind of rambling mess I've written. I just want you to know that Demon God is my heart's work, and so is my new book, "Cultivation Chronicles of Explaining the Characters." By the time Demon God is finished,
