At the boundary between light and darkness in the vast starry expanse.

Millions of troops stood arrayed, and corpses floated for miles. The battle between the Light Allied Forces and the Dark Alliance had yet to begin, but small-scale clashes had already sent the stench of blood soaring into the sky. Resentment, Evil, slaughter, and other dark auras churned overhead alongside the souls, nearly coalescing into eerie skeletons of energy.

Dark creatures and furtive wraiths were drawn by it all and began to make their entrances.

Something was increasingly wrong with this empty stretch of stars. The once-calm fabric of time and space seemed to ripple from the slaughter of millions, trembling in a faint, rhythmic pulse.

Strange phantoms flickered through the vast emptiness from time to time. They were tiny and, unless one ventured to the battlefield's edge, almost impossible to notice, like shifting light and shadow.

While both sides restrained themselves and held back from open conflict, powerful figures and old monsters hidden across the planes began to emerge.

On one plane, the land stretched far and wide. As far as the eye could see, a strange red Flower Sea covered tens of thousands of miles, swaying in the breeze and sending its fragrance across the world.

That fragrance carried a hint of blood. Stranger still, every flower grew in the same direction, perfectly aligned like soldiers in an army.

A woman dressed in garments woven from red flowers strolled through the blossoms carpeting the hills and fields, utterly at ease.

Spring glimmered in her eyes, and every movement held a deadly allure. She reached out, gently picked a red flower,
