The forest had been silent for a long time. There were no animals, no intelligent beings, only strangely pale trees with wisps of white mist drifting among them.

A monster that looked stitched together from corpses spoke. It gave off a terrible stench, and pus oozed from its body. This was an Abomination, a mid-tier undead species.

Abominations were beings created by necromancers, Liches, or other high-ranking undead. Taking the soul of an intelligent being as their foundation, their creators forced deathly energy into it, then used stitching and reconstruction techniques to produce this peculiar creature.

They could also be called war machines.
