Heaven and earth shook. Endless dark energy erupted, thick with an ominous presence. At that very moment, the gods outside forced their way in, their attacks blazing with color as they thundered down.
Among them were one or two figures whose power seemed as deep as the sea. They stood above the rest, looking down into the Hall of Gods. Each of them could shake heaven and earth simply by standing there.
"No! Run!"
The Elf Chief God's shrill cry rang out. Before the gods outside could react, the dense black mist surged wildly across the Divine Realm.
It swept up most of the gods outside in an instant.
"Damn it! What is this?"
"What kind of power is this? It got inside me!"
"No! It's copying our bloodlines! Gods, it's copying the Laws too! Stop it!"
The gods roared. Chaos broke out as the black mist spread, and even the God Kings who had arrived were at a loss.
"Your Majesty, Elf Chief God, what is going on? I expect an explanation!"
A God King appeared in the Hall of Gods, his eyes blazing with anger. He had come to rescue the gods after receiving the Elf Chief God's message. Instead, it was as if they had walked into an ambush. Most of his subordinates were trapped in the thick black mist, their fates unknown. How could he not be furious?
"An explanation? I already shouted for you to run. You simply didn't hear me." The Elf Chief God glanced at the newly arrived God King, contempt flashing in her eyes.
