Demon Chronicle had made it onto Sanjiang again. It had been a little over two years since the last time. In those two years, Demon God had come to an end, and this book had earned a place on Sanjiang once more. Along the way, I had gained a lot and lost a lot, but more people and things had stayed by my side.
Many of you knew that the past two years had not been easy for me. I went through two failed relationships and nearly lost the will to carry on. It was Yaozi Ge who scolded me until I came to my senses. After that, I gradually resumed updating Demon God. It had been doing well, but because of me, its results fell off a cliff. Thankfully, I stuck with it and finished it, then pulled myself together and began this new book.
Two whole years. How many stretches of two years did a person get in a lifetime? It was neither long nor short, but I was deeply grateful that you had stayed with me and never given up on me. Thank you to my former editor, Winnie, for talking me through those hard times, and to my current editor, Wutong, for the unwavering support. To be honest, this new book did not do very well when it first came out. But I persevered, starting over as a newcomer and walking this road again. Through hardship and suffering, jade was polished into its finest form. Now Demon Chronicle had reached its most critical moment, and I needed your help. Old companions, come back!
