A deathly pale ghost face appeared in Little Bei'er's eyes! It flashed past so quickly that neither Er Dongsheng nor Bei'er noticed it!

"A ghost?"

"No. It should be called a Wraith!" Er Dongsheng's expression darkened. Even in the Abyss, Wraiths were taboo. The Wraiths of the Abyss were not the legendary ghosts of other planes, but a special kind of demon!

The origins of Wraiths in the Abyss could not be verified. All that was known was that this demonic race had first appeared there in great numbers during the Ancient Era, when the Demon Lord Lilith ruled! Back then, these demons had become synonymous with the most wicked, chaotic things imaginable. Rumor even held that they had nearly destroyed the entire Abyss!

But hadn't those demons ultimately been wiped out by the Demon Lord Lilith? Why had one appeared here?

Er Dongsheng stared at the wooden bucket nearby. Was it connected to what was inside?

He kept thinking, but no answer came. He did not know what to do about something out of legend!
