I Made It onto Sanjiang, So Let Me Share What's on My Mind

I made it onto Sanjiang! I'm so happy! As always, I want to thank my signing editor, Taozi, and my managing editor, Weini, first. Without their strong support, Sixue wouldn't have made it this far.

But what mattered most was having you all with me along the way. Without your support and encouragement, even if the editors thought highly of Sixue, I wouldn't have had the confidence to keep writing! Thank you so much, my dear readers. Sixue loves you!

I've been uploading this novel for over a month now, at least six thousand characters a day, without missing an update. Even with a complete outline, I never expected I could keep this up day after day—but somehow I did!

I've always felt that writing was a joy. How wonderful it was to share the little bits of dream and fantasy in my head with everyone! Sometimes I might not think things through completely, so I've kept taking readers' suggestions to heart and working to revise my ideas and outline!

I can't write commercial fiction, and I don't much like stories that are nothing but fighting and killing. You could say I've poured all my feelings and hard work into this novel. With every chapter I wrote, I felt as though I were adventuring and wandering alongside the protagonist. His love for the little girl reflected my own longing to have a younger sister, and how I wished I could be there too, drifting on a bamboo raft across the boundless sea!

So no matter what, I'll keep writing this novel with all my heart, because it's the fruit of my feelings! My family is doing all right, and I don't know whether I'll write another book in the future. But this one—I'll definitely, definitely give it my all. Er
