Kakashi called Tobitake Tonbo to his office to learn about Neji's situation.

When he learned that it was merely an enhancement of Neji's ocular power, he did not quite believe it.

After all, that was far too great a leap.

Neji and Tenten were together. Not everyone got to witness that.

Kakashi said, "That's good. Otherwise, Tenten keeps coming to bother me. It's really annoying!"

Though strengthening someone's ocular power could arguably be considered human experimentation too.
