After clearing away every trace and lingering presence, the couple returned to the babies' room. Seeing them still sound asleep, they both let out a sigh of relief.
They slowly fell asleep on the couch beside the cradle.
Only the two siblings suddenly blinked at each other and babbled, "Wah-yi~"

Little Naruto made his favorite instant noodles and happily started eating. Beside him were two connected figurines, one a handsome-pot version of Tobitake Tonbo and the other a tiny Naruto.
"Uncle Tonbo said that once I enter the Ninja Academy and put that stuff called chakra into them, these little figures will be able to talk. He said they're his greatest, greatest, greatest creation."
Tobitake Tonbo had given him these things before leaving yesterday. Naruto grinned as he looked at the figurines.
This was the first gift anyone had ever given him.
He did not know what the greatest creation looked like, but it had to be amazing.
"I'm going to learn from Uncle Tonbo and make two dolls for his two babies as gifts."
Little Naruto smiled brightly, feeling that he should return the favor.

Teuchi brought him a steaming bowl of ramen. After thanking him, Shiso slurped up a mouthful.

He asked while eating.
Teuchi smiled. "He said he'd come help out today. Maybe the children were being too naughty."
"My babies aren't naughty at all. They're very well-behaved."
