Kakashi walked upside down on his hands, following the two green and red figures ahead of him.
His dead-fish eyes were filled with speechless resignation.
Tobitake Tonbo said, "Because you know too much."
Guy said, "Soga, that's right. You know too much."
He was still young, after all, and his skin was not thick enough. Under Tobitake Tonbo and Guy's combined fists and threats, he had no choice but to follow them.
Kakashi was utterly speechless.
He had finally gotten a day off today. A few days ago, on his eighteenth birthday, he had received a birthday gift mailed back by Lord Jiraiya—the latest edition of Icha Icha Paradise.
He had been planning to continue reading and studying it after training, only to run into these two guys.
Today really was not a good day.
"Yo, Kakashi, what's this?" Tobitake Tonbo, walking ahead of him, somehow had a book in his hand.
Four large words were printed on it: "Icha Icha Paradise."
At that, Guy's eyes flashed, and he snatched it away.
"Stop, it's just a book about love..." Kakashi instantly blushed and climbed after him to snatch it back.
His old friend was acting far too anxious. This was unlike him.
Guy instantly understood. This was no ordinary book. Love—what a great word.
For it to catch his old friend's attention, it had to be a truly special and excellent book.
Guy bounced up on one hand and opened the book as he walked.
Meanwhile, to get back at Kakashi for seeing through his disguise, Tobitake Tonbo blocked Kakashi's path.
