Ever since the visit to the Land of Fire ended, the rock salt lamp at the Kaguya Clan Grounds had once again begun burning late into the night.
This time, though, the papers spread beneath it were no longer mission presentations and diplomatic correspondence. They were training plans, sea charts showing the distribution of summoning beasts, and an assessment of every ANBU member's abilities, densely marked in red.

The massive warship under repair in the Land of Crafts had entered the final stretch. In no more than half a month, it would be anchored off Kirigakure's coast.
Meanwhile, the first batch of standardized kunai and shuriken forged from refined steel in the Land of Crafts had arrived at Hidden Mist Port aboard the Fujiwara Family's merchant ships. Their quality was a full two grades above Kirigakure's own products.
After the grain trade agreement with the Land of Fire took effect, the first shipment of rice was loaded at Long Beach Port. The Fujiwara Family's merchant fleet would carry it, and it was expected to arrive in half a month.
At the same time, the Land of Water's economy benefited from both the Water-Lightning Alliance and the Land of Fire's overtures.
