A cold voice exploded through the forest like a venomous snake hissing. In an instant, two chains wrapped in ghostly blue runes shot through the air with a chilling rattle. Naruto's pupils contracted sharply as a chill ran down his back—the two Kirigakure ninja had appeared behind him like ghosts, their icy chains already pressed against the center of his back.
"Ah..." Naruto's entire body stiffened, cold sweat instantly soaking his forehead protector. The scent of death was right before him, and his legs felt as though they had been filled with lead, unable to move. Not only could he not move, he could not even cry out.

A bolt of black lightning streaked across the sky. Sasuke leaped into the air, drawing both a shuriken and a kunai. With a flick of his wrist, the shuriken shot out. Amid a metallic clang, the flying shuriken precisely pinned the chains to a tree trunk. Sasuke then threw the other kunai with a backhand motion, embedding it into the shuriken's ring with a clang and firmly locking the chains in place.
"What?!"
The Kirigakure ninja tugged furiously at the chains, only to find that they would not budge.
Sasuke had already curled his lips into a cold smile as he landed on their arms.
Seeing this, they were stunned by the boy's boldness, before they could react.
Sasuke suddenly dropped down, pressing both hands against their arms. Then he kicked backward with all his strength.
Bang! His feet slammed hard into the faces of the two Kirigakure ninja. They were sent flying backward, only to be yanked back by the chains.
"Wow, Kakashi is so cool!" The Ninja Academy students immediately cried out when they saw that attack.
