Jim waited anxiously at the police station while scrolling through the post. "Wow, this big shot updated it again."
The post had been revised. Well, the rankings had been reorganized, and the pictures and information were much clearer now.
"Oh— the only eleven-star 'superhuman.' Peter, you were there. You must have seen him, right? Just how strong was he?"
Along the way, Jim had already learned that Wakanda had indeed won the battle. That night, he had stayed awake until dawn, terrified that his son would turn to ash. Oh, he and his wife had already divorced, and their son was in his custody. Even after the official news came out, he still had his doubts.
These days, the official word was the most trustworthy thing there was, but also the least trustworthy.
They were full of hot air, after all.
Luckily, he had run into a childhood friend today, and finally put his mind at ease.
"Who? Eleven stars?"
Star-Lord curiously took the phone. Earth's technology was far behind that of the cosmos, but it was more convenient in some ways. The highest rating he had seen in the earlier post was ten stars.
Damn it, he was only two stars.
He had watched those so-called livestream videos too, and felt a little depressed. He had appeared too late, so he barely got any screen time. Still, compared to those big shots at the front, he really was far inferior.
The updated post had changed his ranking as well, and an eleven-star superhuman had appeared.
A closer look made everything clear.
"Him?"
"Yeah, he deserves to be ranked first." Gamora glanced at it and nodded.
