Some Things That Must Be Said About the Original Plot

Feng Ye admitted that reading through the original plot in a fanfiction novel was rather uninteresting and boring, because she used to be like that too.

However, when it came to the original plot in Shadow of the Night, Feng Ye had never considered cutting it out, even though writing it meant typing at the computer while watching it at the same time, which was such a hassle.

Why? Because Feng Ye had mentioned it before: she became obsessed with Bleach last year, around the end of 2012 before the Spring Festival. Back then, she sat in front of the computer all day watching it, but by the time she had finished all three hundred-plus episodes, it was already around May or June of 2013.

Feng Ye's pace was considered slow, all because she had fallen for Yoruichi. Every time Yoruichi appeared on screen, Feng Ye watched the scenes over and over several times, sometimes even more than a dozen times, before continuing.

Whether it was her words, her movements, or anything else, she just seemed unbelievably cool. That was when Feng Ye first got the idea to write a novel, which became Shadow of the Night.

While she was at the height of her obsession, she unconsciously wrote and thought according to the original work. Even now that the enthusiasm had faded, Feng Ye did not want to change it. She thought about it for a long time last night. Boring or not, she would still write the original plot as it was. She did not want to leave out a single scene of Yoruichi's appearances; otherwise, she always felt empty inside and terribly uneasy. Feng Ye did not think this novel was a success, for reasons in every respect.

But it was, after all, Feng Ye's first work. No matter what, she would see it through to completion.

The next Yoruichi fanfiction would not be like this, because the protagonist would not be a shadow anymore. Haha!
