The Old Butler had just entered Anita's Bedroom when he saw an unidentified lump beneath the covers.

Anita was clearly somewhat afraid of the Old Butler. Perhaps he was the only person in all of Mary Geoise she feared.

His tone was stern. Anita was being absurd. If the navy really lost three years of funding, it might as well formally disband.
