At the center of the battlefield, Aokiji suddenly stopped attacking. He had heard a low rumble. Something enormous seemed to be approaching beneath the ice under his feet.
"Not good! Sea Kings!"
Aokiji leaped into the air and sent two Ice Pillars flying from his hands, pushing most of the Marines to safety. But the soldiers tangled up with the Pirates were not so lucky. The next moment, with a deafening roar, a golden lion with a huge horn on its forehead and flipper-like limbs smashed through the ice and burst out!
Screams rang out. Pirates and Marines alike were hurled high into the air by the impact. Even if the collision did not kill them, a fall from five or six hundred meters would. At that height, the seawater might as well have been solid iron!
Pirate Ships shattered one after another. Before the giant Sea King, humans were as small as ants. They cried out as they fell into the water, including this year's Supernova, "the Magician" Hawkins!
"What an enormous body! Is that a giant Sea King?"
