It's finished. Time for a little rambling.
This was my first book and the first one I've completed. There are so many people to thank.
My editor Ruoye, fellow authors Jiao Ge, Ghost Sword, and Chishi, readers Super Big Shot, I Am Tang King, Dark Star Emperor, Momo, Xue Yuhan—the list goes on!
After all, 1.8 million words... Along the way, so much happened.

Yes, Dashu is finally free!
I don't have to worry about what to write for each day's update!
I don't have to agonize over every comment readers leave!
It's all settled now. Whatever happens, happens!

Not me!
I posted one chapter on the sixth, one on the seventh, and one on the eighth. That was how I opened the book. Impressed? ≈l;( ̄︶ ̄)≈g;
I kept coasting along with one update a day until the message from the site arrived. To my surprise, I could actually sign a contract!!!
I've always considered a contract something sacred, regardless of how binding it really is. If I was going to sign one, I couldn't let myself slack off or drag my feet. I had to take this book, which I'd started just to pass the time, seriously!
Back then,
