Clutching the telescope, the pirate raised his head a fraction. The moment he met Caribou's eyes, he looked down again. "Y-yes... I did. I think... we should turn around, or we'll run into the Marines soon."

The pirate jolted, trembling with fear. He looked up, panic written all over his face, and opened his mouth to explain. A blur cut through the air, and terror filled his eyes.

The telescope fell onto the deck. Silence settled over the ship, broken only by the sound of the waves. The pirates stared in terror at the hulking figure holding a shovel.

Caribou's face darkened as he looked at the fallen pirate. He turned on the burly man with the shovel and the pet chameleon perched on his head. "Idiot! Who told you to do that?!"

The burly man merely chuckled at Caribou's scolding. Blood still dripped from his shovel.

Caribou could only sigh at the man's reaction, though it left him even more irritated. The approaching Marine warship was now visible to the naked eye. He stuck out his long tongue and grinned savagely. "Keh-heh-heh! Don't be afraid of the Marines. Catch them and kill them."
