An island shrouded in mist: the Kingdom of Fog.
The sky was dark. Though it was called a kingdom, devastation stretched as far as the eye could see, leaving it desolate.
Weapons lay scattered everywhere, along with corpse after corpse. Countless mosquitoes and flies buzzed around the bodies as a foul stench spread through the air.
Beneath the acrid smell lingered a faint scent of fresh blood, the only sign that this place had been full of life not long ago.
But it would not be long before it became another Florian Triangle.
Most of the kingdom's capital lay in ruins. A massive figure stood atop its crumbling walls.
Several people stood nearby. Behind the massive figure was a long-haired man dressed in finery, his face frightening to behold.
He looked bizarre, with a lion's nose, mouth, and jaw. He wore a round top hat bearing a batlike emblem and ball-shaped earrings, a shirt and trousers beneath a long, high-collared coat, and tall boots.
He took half a step forward and looked up at the massive figure. "My lord."
"Kill him! Take back our kingdom!"
Before he could finish, several battered warriors interrupted him and charged toward the massive figure on the wall.
"Hee-hee-hee-hee! I'll leave these men to you. Bring them up to me first," the massive figure said with a strange laugh.
The warriors threw themselves into the attack, but before they could reach the wall, another figure shot out from atop it. When they looked up, he had already vanished into thin air.
