Another round of bombardment began!
Cannonballs tore through the air with a sharp whistle, slamming into the streets and hurling dirt and rubble dozens of meters into the sky.
Buildings reeled under the blasts. Smoke and dust billowed through the streets, where bodies lay scattered everywhere.
In just a few minutes, Town had become a sea of flames!

Inside Town, Jozu and Jesus Burgess traded punches. The ground shattered, and the force of the collision blew away the black smoke around them.
They sprang apart, but a cannonball came hurtling down between them and exploded!
Bang! Bang!
Cannon fire filled the air, and black smoke rolled through the town.
"Has the Buster Call started?"
"Have Xuebai Zhipei and the others reached the secret harbor?"
Jozu and Jesus Burgess frowned, but only for a few seconds. Their eyes met, and they charged back into battle!
Even the Buster Call could not stop their fight. One carried a deep hatred; the other, an immense ambition. In the firelight, neither would yield.
At Town's western harbor.
A huge raft rocked on the surging waves. This harbor was within the bombardment zone too, and cannonballs fell nearby. The blasts thinned even the mist.
Through it, the towering figures aboard the raft were faintly visible.
"Looks like the Marines have launched their Buster Call. We're in range, you know. Are we going to sit here until Jesus Burgess comes back?" Shiryu of the Rain asked with a wicked grin, a cigar between his lips and an aviator cap on his head.
Smoke drifted upward. In his eyes was the reflection of a man laughing with a gap where his front teeth should have been.
