Shu cursed and hurriedly jumped aside. Stone fired more than a dozen bolts in succession, one of them grazing Shu's backside.
Once Stone had emptied both magazines, Shu sprang in front of him. Stone could not react in time. Before he could dodge, Shu grabbed both crossbows.
Before Stone's astonished eyes, the crossbows crumbled into rust that drifted away on the wind.
