"Beep, beep, beep..."

Sengoku stood on the deck of a warship, leading his men toward the Holy Land at full speed. The Den Den Mushi beside him rang nonstop, as if it had gone mad.

Even at full speed, Sengoku was frantic. The Holy Land was far from Marine Headquarters, so they could not reach it quickly. Worse, it was the middle of the night, which slowed the ship.

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, casualties in the Holy Land have passed a thousand! The number is rising fast!"

Brannew hurried out of the cabin to report. They had left in such a rush that he was still wearing nothing below his waist but a pair of patterned boxer shorts.

Sengoku had set out with his men the moment the Holy Land's urgent plea for help arrived. More than half the Marines had stumbled aboard the warship before they were even properly awake.

Barely a minute later, another man came with a report. "Fleet Admiral Sengoku, casualties among the Celestial Dragons are approaching three thousand!"

The toll had tripled in just one minute. Sengoku's face turned ashen. Even his usually mild expression had grown fierce and frightening.

Boom!

A Celestial Dragon was whipping a slave he had bought when a deafening crash shook the building. Moments later, he fell from the fifth floor to the fourth, then to the third. He was dead before he could reach the first.

Vice Admiral Ronande, commander of the Holy Land's garrison, stood stunned. Buildings collapsed one after another at a terrifying speed, leaving no time to react. It looked like the end of the world.

"What..."

Ronande was about to lead his men to Dragon Mansion when a dozen frenzied rioters charged in from afar. In the blink of an eye, they were upon him.
