Dragon Mansion!
His subordinates had rushed in from every region and gathered in the hall. More than a thousand of them stood in tense silence. No one even dared to breathe too loudly.
Flanked by a dozen senior operatives, Stelly stepped onto the platform. As he looked out at Dragon Mansion's elite, excitement surged through him like fire. He could almost see himself grinding Sabo beneath his heel.
He cleared his throat. "From now on, I'm the one in charge here. My name is Stelly. I hope we'll work closely together to serve the Celestial Dragons. My standing is humble and my abilities limited, so I'll be relying on all of you."
"Hahaha..." A mocking laugh suddenly rose from the crowd. Stelly's face darkened. Beside him, Butler Ramon hurriedly said, "That's Saden from CP6."
"Hmph." Stelly nodded, fixed his eyes on Saden and snapped, "What are you laughing at?"
Saden had nothing but contempt for him. Since Dragon Mansion's founding, its leader had always come from the Celestial Dragons' Royal Family. Stelly, on the other hand, had a vile reputation. He was treacherous and underhanded, and had even offered his own woman to the Celestial Dragons. Saden knew enough about it to despise him.
When Stelly questioned him, Saden snorted. "Nothing, sir. I certainly wasn't laughing at you."
Whether Saden admitted it or not, everyone knew whom he had been laughing at. Stelly's expression turned cold, and he waved to the men beside him. "Seize him!"
Several men rushed forward. In the blink of an eye, they had Saden in their grasp and shoved him onto the platform. Before the whole assembly, Stelly drew a gleaming dagger from his waist and drove it deep into Saden's chest.
"Aaagh!" Saden howled in pain, his face twisting horribly.
Everyone else was stunned.
