Even so, Hawk-Eye refused to concede. Fearless, he attacked without hesitation. Kaido burst out laughing and charged forward to meet him.
The clash between two of the world's mightiest fighters had begun.
The battle shook heaven and earth even more than Hawk-Eye's duel with Red-Haired. Hawk-Eye held nothing back. His blade flashed wildly, every strike crashing down with thunderous force.
Kaido was even more terrifying. Ordinary punches and kicks sent gale force winds surging across the island, making it lurch and shudder. Before long, the island had lost half its height. Sand and stones flew everywhere, trees snapped at the waist, mountain peaks collapsed, and countless enormous cracks split the ground.
It was like the end of the world. No matter how Hawk-Eye attacked, Kaido stood firm as a rock, without a single cut on his body.
Of course, beating Hawk-Eye was no easy task for Kaido either. The battle raged until nightfall without a victor, but Hawk-Eye was the one who stopped attacking. Kaido's strength was unshakable. Hawk-Eye had done all he could just to hold him off for so long.
There was no point in fighting on.
Hawk-Eye withdrew, and Kaido gave no order to pursue him. Instead, he laughed wildly and waved a hand. "Head for Pleasure Valley at once!"
"Yes!" his men answered in unison, their voices ringing out.
But before they reached Pleasure Valley, they encountered another group.
"Lord Kaido, we've spotted a ship belonging to the Blackbeard Pirates dead ahead!"
"Hmm?" Kaido paused, then rose to his feet. His towering frame loomed like a peak piercing the clouds, his thick limbs radiating overwhelming power.
It was Blackbeard's crew. Kaido burst out laughing. Seeing that most of them looked battered, he showed no fear and immediately ordered, "Attack! Perhaps Blackbeard can help me fulfill my
