A cold flash cut through the air as Ghost Cry slid from its sheath, leaving an elegant streak of light. The next instant, the dozen or so unlucky men were sliced in two at the waist.
Luo moved with effortless grace. Amid the ragged screams, a few casual slashes left the men in pieces.
"What happened? Am I dead?" Seeing their bodies chopped into several parts, the men panicked. Fear spread through everyone inside the dome.
Luo smiled calmly. "Don't worry. Don't be afraid. You'll be fine in a moment."
Their body parts began spinning through the air. Luo's fingers moved with easy precision, as though plucking strings, bringing the scattered pieces back together.
When he finished, the men were dumbstruck.
One had no torso, his head attached directly to his waist. Another had his arms and legs swapped. Every arrangement was more awkward than the last.
One had a backside perched on his head. Another had been given someone else's body entirely.
