Every time it came down, it struck with the force of thunder.

Pekoms was no pushover. With his Ghost-Ghost Fruit powers, he always managed to block Urouge's attacks with the shell on his back. They traded blows for a full half hour, neither able to gain the upper hand.

Damn it! Urouge grew impatient and let out a roar. Already a large man, he swelled even bigger, towering like a small mountain. His thick limbs bulged with terrifying strength.

"What kind of power is that?" Pekoms stared, wide-eyed.

Urouge fixed his eyes on him and strode forward, reaching out with both hands. Pekoms hurriedly drew his sword and drove it toward Urouge's chest.

Urouge made no move to dodge. But the moment Pekoms stabbed him, Urouge's huge hands clamped around Pekoms's shoulders like iron pincers.

"Let go of me!" Pekoms finally realized he was in trouble. He struggled desperately, stabbing and pounding at Urouge with sword and fist.

Urouge paid it no mind. With his powerful frame and tough body, Pekoms's attacks felt like a child trying to tickle him.

They posed little threat.

Pekoms was not so lucky. Urouge hoisted him high overhead, turned him upside down, and slammed him headfirst into the ground.

Boom!

Rock shattered, leaving a deep crater. Urouge did not stop. Again and again, he pounded Pekoms into the ground like a pestle grinding garlic.

Pekoms had the Ghost-Ghost Fruit, but there was no shell protecting his head. The repeated blows left him dizzy and seeing stars. He could not break free of Urouge's grip.

Before long, Pekoms had been knocked unconscious.

Only then did Urouge release him and toss him onto the ground.
