At the Tower of Justice training ground.

Eighteen-year-old Lucci was putting himself through extra training alone. Sweat streamed down his bare torso, making his already powerful build look even more imposing.

His hands moved like a storm, hammering the stone wall before him without pause.

His fingers had punched hole after hole through the seemingly indestructible wall. A closer look revealed traces of blood inside them.

"Lucci!"

A group entered the training ground. Their leader had a long, horse-like face, pale skin, and a frail build. But his eyes were frighteningly cold.

Flanked by CP9 members and his son Spandam, Spandine strode in with his head held high and called to Lucci from a distance.

"Lucci! Lucci! Are you deaf?"

Lucci kept training. Spandam gave an irritated snort and was about to go over and berate him.

Then his gaze fell on Lucci's back. Five hideous scars shifted as Lucci moved, looking as though they might turn into demons at any moment and tear Spandam apart. He sucked in a sharp breath, shuddered, and wisely shut his mouth.

"What is it? I don't like being disturbed while I train."

Only after Spandine had nearly exploded with anger from waiting did Lucci slowly turn around.

"Oh, God..."

Spandine and Spandam both jumped. In perfect unison, they stumbled back several steps and collapsed to the ground.

Father and son were both cowards afraid of dying. Lucci was young, but his presence was overwhelming. His eyes gleamed coldly as he stared at them.

He looked like a beast ready to devour someone. Worse still, blood dripped steadily from his hands onto the ground.
