Silver-gray hills, silver-gray woods, silver-gray pebble beaches, silver-gray grass—the entire world seemed draped in a dim, misty frost, seemingly transparent yet utterly blurred.
A full moon!
High in the sky hung a transparent full moon, like a noble goddess. Scarlet-bright moonlight fell in needle-like rays, adding an eerie halo to this hazy gray world.
Li Ziran stared blankly at the moon overhead. At this moment, strands of moonlight pierced through his skull and entered his Spirit World, inexplicably merging with his Shadow Crescent Moon and bringing a peculiar coolness.
This was...
Shadow Elder's world.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Just as Li Ziran was bewildered by this world, four successive sounds of air tearing apart shattered the surrounding silence.
It was Anfuni and the Eternal Giant Frog. The two stumbled out of space and landed behind him, followed by the Spatial Mantis and the grasshopper inhabited by Gegwu. They were rather bedraggled, especially the Spatial Mantis, which had lost half its body.
Yet there was no pain. Every face bore the relief of having escaped danger.
"It's here!" the Spatial Mantis cried in delight. "I heard Sandrew mention it before. Shadow Elder's true body is hidden within the Shadow World. Inside the Shadow World is a scarlet-bright full moon. We should have arrived in the Derivative Space controlled by Shadow Elder."
This needed no further explanation. Li Ziran had already guessed most of it, but he was not particularly happy.
The mysterious stone liquid in the Assembly Hall had already left them at their wits' end, let alone this region of Shadow Space, entirely controlled by Shadow Elder.
Getting out of here would probably be far from as easy as they imagined.
What puzzled him even more was that they had barged into this world, yet Shadow Elder remained completely unmoved.
