The phrase made Li Ziran want to laugh. It sounded like something a charlatan would say.
He had still been angry over Watt just moments ago, yet the instant he heard those words, he inexplicably calmed down.
The Dark Council might have controlled his teacher, but it probably was not a major problem.
The premise was that he had to sign his name.
The Corpse Witch's completely stiffened finger tapped the Oath Tablet and lightly traced out Li Ziran's name. He made a small alteration, leaving out two strokes from one of the characters in the middle.
Though it was only a difference of two strokes, it was absolutely not him.
If the tablet truly possessed some sort of binding power over oaths, it could not possibly descend upon him.
He wanted to see what this bastard was really trying to do.
Yet Bowente seemed not to notice those little tricks at all. The instant the finger left the tablet, he directly snatched it back.
"You made the wisest choice. Welcome, Councilor Li Ziran!"
He was so eager, like a monkey in heat scrambling onto a woman's belly.
Li Ziran stared at him strangely. Though he did not know much about things like Oath Tablets, surely Bowente could not be this careless.
What exactly was this man trying to do?
"My teacher."
"Rest assured. His trajectory has changed," Bowente said with a smile.
"So quickly?"
"The time you see is different from mine," Bowente replied.
Li Ziran fell silent. At the moment, he found that the two of them had run out of topics. He believed the other man was a fraud, yet this man did not reveal the slightest intention.
After a long silence, Li Ziran asked in a low voice, "Won't his survival affect your
