He lowered his head and looked at the bead in his hand. The faint yellow had vanished completely, replaced by blood-red. Though several barely visible Void Spirits still drifted within it, this Time Ghost was already a spent arrow.
Without flesh and blood to sustain it, decomposition and disappearance were only a matter of time.

Bowente was practically pleading by instinct, but he could not even finish a coherent word. He was too weak, and under the effects of the Inert Elements, he looked as though he were talking in his sleep.
